My Easter Bunnyhuahua x

Hope you all had a nice Easter! I went to stay at Ragdale Hall Spa in Leicester with some girl friends. It's really really lovely there and I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing break. It's only 2 hours out of London on the train, the accommodation is great, and it's a really relaxed atmosphere. Everyone roams around in their robes all day, even at lunch and dinner. The food is really nice too, although it is pretty healthy they give you  A LOT of if! Haha not that you have to eat everything, but I lost my cool and ate carbs while I was there! Not sure I lost any weight being there to be honest. They have loads of treatment rooms so you can book last minute treatments while you are there too, and there's classes on all throughout the day. We took part in a Pom Pom class which was really fun. Reminded me of uni as I was a cheerleader for our football team haha! There's an outdoor pool and lots of different sauna, steam room, tropical thunder room, salt crystal steam, silent think room (which we got thrown out of for laughing and being loud in).
It was a really nice break and I miss having someone bring me breakfast in bed every morning now! http://www.ragdalehall.co.uk/

Yesterday I spent the day doing a shoot with Lithium Imaging. I got to dress up a lot which I love as we were recreating some DVD & game cover special effects. I used Lauren's Way tanning mousse the night before so that I looked tanned & had an even skin tone. It's a good colour because if you apply it well it doesn't look unreal & gave me a nice glow. It was a really fun day, we worked hard & as soon as we finished we had champagne and cake haha! I'll post some of the pictures when they're finished in a few weeks!

Lauren's Way <3

Lauren Goodger has launched her own Tanning Products "Lauren's Way" Gorgeous Self Tanning Bronzing Mousse and Gorgeous Beach Bronze Tanning Lotion!
I tried out the Tanning Lotion first in dark. As you can see in the picture both the lotion and mousse are dark in colour so give you an instant colour as well as a developing tan.

The lotion went on really well and was easy to blend in because you can see the colour straight away. The mousse was the same - the colour was lovely on me, I am quite fair and the colour you can see looks like a golden tan. My friend Gemma in the photo is darker than me and she was really impressed with the colour of it on her too, so I can say that it's good on all skin tones. She used gloves to put it on with but I'm impatient and didn't :) I just washed my hands straight after and it was fine and didn't stain, that's usually the tell tale sign of a fake tan. After I also get some cotton wool and wipe some tan on the backs of my hands so that it is all looks even and natural.

You can put it all over, on your face too just blend into your hair line. It recommends that you exfoliate and moisturise first too, I didn't and it wasn't patchy at all. The mousse is like a foam and so easy to put on. If I had to choose I would say the mousse is my favourite just because of the feel of it going on. I put two layers of the lotion on for a really deep colour and it lasted on for about 3 days but you could use it everyday. I wore the mousse last night and everyone admired it.

The difference between the mousse and the lotion I would say is that the lotion is good to put on first thing in the morning as it keeps you moisturised all day so you could just put that on and go. It's down to personal preference, I like to top up with the mousse for a night out and it's a bit lighter to wear if you tan before bed.

Both are only very slightly frangranced, I think the lotion smells slightly like melon and the mousse chocolate. Maybe because I'm trying to diet haha! But neither have that fake tan smell that some do have. They both blend in nicely and gave me a really gorgeous even tan. You can see in the picture that it looks really natural and not orange at all. I love both of these and will be ordering more as soon as I'm getting near the end! Having a tan always makes me look and feel so much better and this is my favourite tan that I've used. I definitely recommended it and it's great value for money. The mousse is £17.95 and the lotion £15.95 or you can buy both for £33.90. That's cheaper than Fake Bake or St Tropez and I'd say you're getting definitely just as good if not better products for it.

You can buy Lauren's Way tanning products here http://glamcard.mybigcommerce.com/
Or on her FaceBook Shop http://on.fb.me/ePXWKE
Ask me anything else that you want to know. I think you'll love Lauren's Way!!

Microderma Facial

On Saturday I went for my Microdermabrasion facial at Lulu Beauty Lounge in Bromley. I must admit I don't have regular facials and I don't really look after my skin either! I told Claire, my therapist, that I sometimes use face wipes to take my make-up off.... she was disgusted! haha. You'll see if after using face wipes you then use cleanser, that all wipes do is move the makeup around your face and block your pores up. So I was well over-due a facial, and even better Microdermabrasion because it is really deep cleansing.

Microdermabrasion by Skin Base is a system where ultra fine crystals are used to resurface the skin. How it works is, the machine which looks like a pen, vacuums to increase circulation (which produces natural collagen) and uses little crystals to exfoliate. The crystals remove dead skin cells without damaging your skin by gently removing the top layers to leave you with the new skin cells, younger looking and firmer skin. It is an alternative to having a chemical peel, which sounds a bit harsh on your skin to me! I had a half hour treatment and it doesn't hurt at all. I don't know why but I was imagining it to be painful and that my face would be raw and bright red haha! But it isn't painful at all you can barely feel it actually! My skin felt hot afterwards but I didn't look red. My cheeks were rosy the next day and I didn't want to wear any make-up for the rest of the weekend but just because my skin looked so healthy I wanted to leave it looking glowy.

The effects are immediate, straight after my face was baby soft and a couple of blemishes I had were almost completely gone (and today have). They recommend that you moisturise and stay out of the sun for the next 48 hours after. I have a really good moisturiser that I LOVE too so I will tell you about that soon...

I am 100% going to be addicted to having Micro facials and I would really recommend that you try it. It removes any blackheads and leaves you absolutely glowing in a way that a normal facial can't because this goes deeper than the surface so effects are much longer lasting! I still look like I've just had a facial and it's 3 days later. I'm going to really look after my skin now and properly cleanse and tone religiously. You can have microderma facial every 7-10 days and can be used to treat uneven skin tone, dull skin, wrinkles, pigmentation, blemishes and acne.

I've never had naturally amazing looking skin, but I want it and this is definitely going to be the way that I achieve it! Lulu beauty lounge is a really friendly salon to go to have a look on their website for their list of treatments. http://www.lulubeautylounge.co.uk/ They often have special offers on too, follow them on Twitter @lululounge for their promotions!

Get Out What You Put In....

I think this is going to shock you....

I spent a couple of days working at the Natural Products show for my dad. (Me working is not meant to be the shocker). Most of the exhibitors there are showcasing food, drink, beauty products. I was helping out on the cookery theatre haha this sounds ridiculous I know.... Anyway all in all the show is not really my thing (sorry dad haha) it all sounds bloody boring to me - organic, healthy, dull.
Some of the food on the chef's cooked on stage was actually yummy but the best for me was Jason Vale. He is the 'Juice Master' and just uses fresh fruit and vegetables, to make smoothies nothing else. No crap substitutes for cooking ingredients etc. because he just juices. http://www.juicemaster.com/
Jason talked about the amount of illnesses and diseases that have been cured from drinking fresh juice & that everything you put in your body should benefit in some way. Juice therapy. Some of you may want to look at Kick The Drink book.... This got me thinking about my lifestyle, diet and what gets absorbed into my body through my skin.

Walking around the show I went looking to see if some non-boring natural beauty products existed.
I'm the lotion queen. I have every lotion and potion you can think up. 6 of each probably. I slap on so much body lotion, moisturiser, make up some times, some of it has to be getting in!  I was attracted by the Natural Empathy stand... because it looked pretty and I'm a girl :)

I tried out some of their hand creams and they smell gorgeous. I actually wore it in bed last night because it is the same smell as when I have aromatherapy massage which sends me to sleep! I spoke to Philip Stuckey the creator of the Natural Empathy range and he was telling me that the products are made with really really good things and not any bad things hahaha I can't actuallllly remember, apart from "no SLS" and obviously I didn't have a clue what any of that science meant, I just took his word for it and nodded.

Anyway... I have done some research on SLSs and it turns out Mr Stuckey is right. It's shocking. SLS is Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, this is found in loads of shampoos, tooth paste, gels, bubble bath and INDUSTRIAL DETERGENTS!? Slightly worrying....  The thing is SLS can cause all sorts of horrible things to happen to your body, and harm your baby if you're pregnant. It can stop children's eyes developing properly, cause cataracts, delay the bodies healing process, build up in your heart, liver and brain (last thing I need!!). When SLS is broken down to make it less abrasive this new compound is actually worse and can cause cancer. Obviously I'm not at home doing chemistry and scientific tests so you can read what I've read here: http://www.health-report.co.uk/sodium_lauryl_sulphate.html

I am really going to think about what I put in and on my bod from now on..........
I say as I inject a load of filler in my face hahaha. It actually isn't funny I have done some naive things! Nothing is more valuable than your health!!

Natural Empathy products look good, smell good and are not dangerous at all (wahoo). I found out after that they won "Best New Natural Beauty Product 2011" I should've been a judge because I spotted them a mile off :) They have a wide range so check them out here:

Suri x

Just had to put this pic of Suri up, she looks soo cute here!! Does anyone know where I can get puppy nail varnish from? I want to paint her toes like Mr Darcy from Only way is Essex haha! She is named after Suri Cruz as they share birthdays!

Tonight I am heading to Harry's bar in the City, I was pleased to find one in Rome too!! Haha. After that Gemma & I are going to McQueens.... Even though she's my flat mate we haven't seen each other for weeks because we both travel a lot & have busy social lives so we have a lot of catching up to do!

Tomorrow I am going to have my Wonderful Hair extensions taken out & a total hair make over!! They have lasted over 3months & i just fancy a change. Nev my hairdresser who is the founder of Wonderful Hair (wonderfulhair-extensions.co.uk) has some ideas & I may not be a blondie by tomorrow! Not that it will stop the stupid comments coming out my mouth though haha. He is very creative & styles Janice Dickinson, Jenny Pace, Lauren Goodger, Maria Fowler & more!! x
