Gelish Nails ~ Midnight Cooler

I just had to show you my nails! I had them done yesterday at Little Beauty Box in Bromley. Gelish dries instantly! No waiting and blowing and trying to carefully open your purse. It lasts for up to 2 weeks, chip free & ultra glossy. I absolutely love them! This shade is called Midnight Cooler. I also had a microdermabrasion facial, which I love. I have fresh new skin today and a blemish free glowing complexion!

Little Beauty Box

On Friday it was the opening of Little Beauty Box in Bromley. The salon is on Letchworth Drive, a in a parade of shops set back from the main road. My first impressions were how classy & spacious the place was. It has a really nice feel to it, and the treatment rooms feel really homely. I wanted to get into one of the beds, they look so cosy!

Little Beauty Box offers Gelish nails, Microdermabrasion facials (my favourite), along with all of your traditional treatments. My favourite apart about the salon & why I would go there over other places are firstly the friendly staff, and secondly the Relaxation Room! Once you've had your treatments, rather than be rushed out the door and back to reality (no thanks), you can make your way to the back of the salon where you will find a spacious relaxation room, choose your chaise lounge and completely chill out until you feel ready to face the outside world again....

This is going to be my new oasis. If you can't find me, chances are I will be hiding here!

The Glossiest Gloss

I've found a new gloss which has knocked my favourite gloss off it's top spot in my make-up box! In the battle of the glosses it's Clarin's Gloss Appeal -V- Barry M Glossy Tube...

Clarin's is my favourite brand for skin care, but I don't always think that skin care brands are always the best at doing make-up, and vice-versa. I've been using Clarin's Gloss Appeal (Shade 01 £12.50) for a while, and do really like it. It's great on it's own or over the top of a lipstick to give a reflective gloss with it's tiny violet sparkles. You can't feel these "sparkles", I know in some glosses you can which isn't nice. This gloss is good for a more professional, subtle look....

When I spotted the Barry M Super Shiny Glossy Tube, I knew it was a contender for my current gloss because it was a more eye-catching version at a cut of the price - £3.99. If you like a bit of gloss and glamour like me then you will love this.... It's got a much pinker base compared to the Clarins & is even more violet, reflective, shiny & pouty!!

Absolutely love my Barry M gloss, it's my new lip filler in a tube ~ without the expense and pain!

Fill Your Boots!

I've seen some really nice boots in the shops for winter, & there are so many different styles out at the moment, I want them all!

Here are my favourites...

Suede Platform ankle boots from H&M ~ £34.99. Great investment, they are so comfortable and stylish. Can be dressed up with tights and a skirt, or more casual with jeans or leggings. So cute.

How sweet are these? I love these little rock-chick look boots, can just imagine them with tights and a jumper-dress. ~ £75 from Oasis, they come in black & also grey, a little bird tells me they have £25 off at the moment in store too.. these included! Great investment. I say that about everything I buy :)

Black flat over the knee boots only ~ £20 from Primark! These actually belong to my flat mate (stealing her clothes for photos) But I have wanted them since she got them. I'm sure Gemma is glad we aren't the same size or I would steal her shoes all the time. Thou shalt not covet thy friends boots. But they are really cool

I love this Revlon "Plum Attraction" nail polish. Perfect colour for the winter & super shiny. Deep purple makes a nice change from the more common reds & browns that are popular at this time of year, but then I'm slightly biased as purple is my favourite colour!!

Beautifully Bronzed - Clarins Duo

So many people have been asking me about this! A lady even stopped me on the train to ask which bronzer I was using. I've been looking for the perfect bronzer for ages & this is IT! It's Clarin's Bronzing Duo Compact in 'Bright Sun' at around £22.50.

For everyday wear I don't want anything too shimmery or glittery, this isn't at all. It gives the perfect matt finish and evens skin tone beautifully. The main reason I love this bronzer is because it is a duo. I'm often rushing or running late & this saves time on fiddling about with a blusher as well. Using a large bronzing brush I mix the two shades together in the compact and apply lightly across my forehead, nose, cheeks and chin (this is just lightly & evenly over foundation or tinted moisturiser). I then use the lighter peach to sweep across my eyes and cheeks. The lighter colour gives a reflective effect creating contours. I then use the darker shade just on my cheek bones to give a touch of colour. Perfect for your on-the-go face! Not to heavy & gives a flawless bronzed finish!

Lauren's Way Press Launch

Last night my friend Georgia & I headed down to Jewel bar in Piccadilly for the Lauren's Way press launch. With a range of new products out it really has been Lauren's Way mania recently - once you try the products you will see why! I was wearing the Glam Tan & lashes last night in the pictures below.

Nev, Lauren & me....

The new products add to the existing range of clip-in hair extensions, and tanning, to bring in instant tan, spray Glam Tan, 3 Step Tanning products (see review below) and false lashes. Each of the items are genuinely fantastic products & I hope this range continues to grow in the future.

Me wearing my Glam Tan, such a fantastic colour, non-streak, natural looking tan. A few people asked where my dress was from, it's Lipsy...

It was such a great event, with loads of people there from all over, fantastic products, DJ, cake & of course Champagne!

*New* LW - 3 Step Tan

In addition to the LW lashes, LW have launched Glam Tan, Body Polish & Tan Enhancing Moisturiser!
Any fake tan experts know that the best start to a great finish is using a good body scrub to give you a smooth base. LW Body Polish does just that. Some areas can be slightly dry, such as elbows and knees, this polish smooths away any dead skin cells leaving you silky soft to apply your tan.

LW Glam Tan is just something else! It is a spray solution which gives you the exact same finish as a professional spray tan. Simply spray the Glam Tan directly on to an area of your body or on to the tanning mitt. Stroke the mitt over the area to give full coverage, a tanning mitt is the ideal way to perfectly blend and not leave any streaks. You can apply the tan more lightly to certain areas using the mitt, such as back of hands and wrists (avoid palms all together!) ankles and feet. And a second application to arms and legs, depending on how dark you want to be. This is my favourite LW product from the tanning range, the consistency and feel of it is perfect. Once applied it doesn't feel tacky, or sticky, just completely like your normal skin.

The Tan Enhancing Moisturiser is a really yummy smelling body cream which is specially designed to help you hold on to your tan for longer. It deeply moisturises and can be used morning & evening to keep your skin smooth and tanned for as long as possible! It can also be used (very sparingly) before application too on any areas that you want to avoid, eyebrows, palms etc.

This is the perfect 3-Step tanning treatment for a authentic looking, lasting tan!

Funky Fresh Juice Launch Event

Last night I went along to Jason Vale's launch of his new book The Funky Fresh Juice book. The place was packed & the juice was flowing! My favourite juice was 'Blend it like Beckham' with yoghurt and beetroot, having such a sweet tooth I loved it! The book is full of recipes written specifically to treat various health issues, for training & fitness needs and some just for the deliciousness! In the book there are loads of celebrity concoctions by Beverley Knight, Katie Price, to name just a couple.... you'll have to buy the book to see what they love to whizz up! Jason's book is available on his site below, and you get his 7lbs in 7 days book with it for free. Juicing is a really good way to detox and lose weight and has so many health benefits.
